Established in 1982, Zema Estate is a family winery deservedly takes great pride in their achievements and their original philosophies – Estate grown, hand pruned, minimally irrigated, hand crafted, attention to detail – consistently produced exceptional wines. This a benchmark Coonawarra Shiraz, fermentation under controlled temperatures, and matured 14 months French hogsheads.

Aromas of blueberries, dark cherry with subtle nutty oak; attractive and medium bodied with refinement reflecting the great quality of the vintage; ripe mulberry and dark plum enhanced by fine mocha and toasty oak; drinking well now and also has good cellaring potential

Smooth and polished, this juicy, sweetly fruited shiraz of medium-body has a delicate black and red berries and cedary oak lifted by a scent of white pepper. Redcurrant, blackberries, cassis and licorice-like fruit extends with length, elegance and freshness towards a lingering minty finish. 90 points
