The 2007 Munia Especial is the same blend made in a more contemporary style. Opaque purple-colored, it gives up a nose of wood smoke, pencil lead, violets, roasted meat, and assorted black fruits. Structured and still a bit tightly wound on the palate, it will benefit from 4-6 years of additional bottle ate. It has a drinking window extending from 2014 to 2022 if not longer.
