Tasting Notes
Good, bright and deep colour; the bouquet is complex, with a lot more fruit evident than in any recent Taltarni red wine, and oak likewise more apparent. The good news continues on the palate, which is more supple and has more mid-palate fruit than hitherto; the length and balance are good. An estate-grown blend of 60 per cent Shiraz and 40 per cent Cabernet Sauvignon fermented in open fermenters, with components finishing their fermentation in new French and American oak, with 18-22 months maturation.

Rich in texture, nicely balanced with lacy acidity, with appealing gamy, cedary notes weaving through the ripe cherry and licorice flavors, mingling nicely on the plump finish. Drink now through 2007. 420 cases made
