*S de Siran is the 2nd wine of Chateau Siran in Margaux appellation. It comes from young plots and a random selection, depending on the vintage, from the first wine.
The average age of the vineyard is between 5 and 15 years and according to the years, the volume of the S de Siran represents 30 to 40% of the whole volume of the Margaux appellation produced on the estate.
S de Siran is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. It is raised with as much care as its grand-brother. It as well matures in barrels during 12months(15% new barrels). S de Siran is a round wine, complex and fascinating, to be usually tasted between 5 and 7 years.
The average production of S de Siran is 35 000 to 50 000 bottles.
