Tasting Notes
The 2005 Pinot Noir Estate ?°Sigma?± was aged for 18 months in French oak
including 30% new Francois Freres barrels. The wine has superb aromatics
featuring toasty, mineral, black cherry, and black raspberry notes.
This leads to a juicy yet structured velvety-textured wine which will
profit from 3-4 years of additional cellaring. Drink it through 2020.

Very good colour for age; a complex wine with texture and structure
obvious from the word go; has foresty/savoury characters wrapped around
plum and cherry fruit, the palate lengthened by fine, persistent
tannins; 200 dozen made.
