Tasting Notes
Lovely wine in all respects; medium-bodied, with great regional character and fruit; filled with flavour, yet retains great elegance. Only 14 ° alcohol.

Smooth, focused and spicy, with a strong licorice note weaving through the finish, enhancing the black cherry flavors and letting it all linger well. Gets firmer with each sip. Best from 2006 through 2012. 2,000 cases made

Deep, dark brooding aromas of blackberry, plum and blackcurrant concentrate with meaty, rather gamey new oak qualities. Long, smooth and silky, with penetrative minty small berry flavours, suggestions of licorice and spice tightly interwoven with creamy oak. Typical of the better Barossa wines of this vintage.
