The Penfolds Reserve Bin label was created as a result of Penfolds Yattarna development project, under which outstanding, one off parcels of wine will be released. Penfolds reserve Bin 95A is a superbly structured. full bodied wine. The utmost attenion to detail has been placed ar all stages of the winemaking process, from the selection of grapes through to fermentation maturation in the vert best 225 litre French oak barriques. The wine feature mouthfilling tropical fruit characters well integrated with soft oak and finishes with a lovely butterscotch creaminess. While this wine is drinking exceptionally well on release, it will continue to age gracefully in the bottle in the medium to long erm with careful cellaring. – by Offical Website

95A is a big, seamless and generous wine with creaminess and weight. Its pungent, nutty and toasty bouquet is developing in honeyed, spicy and lemony fashion, with a background of apple, melon and fig fruit. Its palate is acquiring more richness and weight, but still finishes savoury with integrated acidity. It’s a good chardonnay which just lacks the nerve and vitality of the best of them. – by Jeremy Oliver
