Tasting Notes

Colour : Medium deep red.

Nose : Soft cassis minty, cedar, herb garden aromas with
some saddle leather notes.

Palate : The wine is ready to drink with soft gentle cassis,
coffee, herb flabours and grainy dry tannins.
Finishes quite grippy but there’s plenty of length.
Probably at its best now.

Medium red-purple; surprisingly well integrated and balanced fruit and oak with lively cassis accents. The palate, too, offers attractive mint and berry flavours plus a slice of vanilla courtesy of the oak.

Very good, classy wine from its vintage, with a youthful aroma of minty violets, cassis and plums back by some pretty smart lightly smoky and cedary chocolate/coconut American oak. Long, polished and very elegant, its ripe fruit is perfectly offset by oak and firm, fine-grained tannins.
