From an outstanding vintage in Coonawarra,
This Cabernet was matured in predominately French oak (34% new) for a period of 18 months. Medium to full bodied and filled with rich fruit the palate still follows a very refined trajectory.
Slightly dryish finish tannins perfectly integrated to the fruit for longer term cellaring. Excellent length with a long conclusion of red currant, blackcurrant, mulberries, infusions of cedary tobacco characters, bay leaf and spice.
