Tasting Notes
Very deep garnet-black colored, the 2002 Georgia’s Paddock Shiraz gives a great intensity of mulberry and dried plum aromas with hints of figs, mocha, prosciutto, soy and a whiff of camphor. Full bodied and generously fruited, it has a solid foundation of medium-firm grainy tannins and high acid, finishing long and spicy. It’s drinking well now though has the concentration and structure to go onto 2022+.

Lithe, racy style balances lively acidity with a wonderful wad of flavor, packing in a seamless range of blackberry, black cherry, black olive and black pepper flavors that fill the mouth and last impressively on the focused finish. Hints of exotic spices dance around. Drink now through 2015. 100 cases imported.
