Tasting Notes
A strong effort from this estate, which remains somewhat disregarded in the Pomerol hierarchy, the deep plum/purple-hued 2005 Clos du Clocher offers up notes of sweet chocolate, caramel, black cherries, herbs, and camphor. With ripe tannin, an opulent, fleshy mouthfeel, and decent acidity, the impression is one of breadth and hedonism. Enjoy it over the next 10-15+ years.

This has wonderful mineral, blackberry, sweet tobacco and licorice aromas. Full-bodied, yet balanced and refined, with coffee, chocolate and berry character. Long and caressing. Very pretty and harmonious. Best after 2016.
