Tasting Notes
Fabulous aromatics of graphite, melted licorice, black truffles, and cassis suggest something profound, but on the palate, the wine does not follow through. Slightly clipped and monolithic, but still very good, this mid-weight Margaux possesses terrific aromatics, but not the flavor/concentration/depth to match the evolved bouquet. Drink it over the next 10-12 years.(Wine Advocate #171 Jun 2007)
