Tasting Notes
An attractive, elegant, but lightweight effort, the 2000 exhibits a deep plum/ruby color in addition to an earthy nose intermixed with camphor, dried herbs, red currants, and cherries. The tannin is sweet, but there is not much concentration or persistence in the abrupt finish. Anticipated maturity: now-2012.(Wine Advocate #146 Apr 2003)
