Tasting Notes

This was not a good showing for this wine. The 1994 d’Angludet possesses attractive blackcurrant fruit, but since bottling, it appears to have gone into a shell, revealing hard, astringent tannin that dominates the wine’s fragilely concentrated sweetness and ripeness.
The wine is medium-bodied and spicy, but very austere. Will it return to its pre-bottling form?

Showing attractive berry and vanilla aromas and flavors, this is medium-bodied, with medium tannins and a slightly short finish. Drink now or hold.
