Tasting Notes
This wine has turned out even better than I had expected, continuing this estate’s progression in quality that began several years ago. The dark ruby color is followed by sweet, elegant notes of black currants, cherries, spicy oak, and cedar. The wine is medium-bodied, with sweet tannin, and a moderately long finish. Purely made with good depth, it represents one of the more forward Pauillacs of the vintage. Anticipated maturity: 2003-2014.(Wine Advocate #122 Apr 1999)
