Tasting Notes
This pure, elegant Margaux offers intensely fragrant aromas of melted licorice, black currants, and smoked herbs in a medium-bodied, deep ruby/purple-colored style. A classic Margaux with good purity, but not the size, depth, or power of the 2000, it is a finesse-styled effort with impressive balance. Anticipated maturity: 2006-2014.(Wine Advocate #153 Jun 2004)
