Tasting Notes

The 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon has a very deep garnet-black color with
aromas of black currant, kirsch, dried plums, bay leaf, cloves and black
pepper plus just a touch of tree bark. The rich, full bodied palate has
medium-high fine tannins and high acidity injecting freshness, though
it still finishes a little hot. Drink this one now to 2016.

Light colour; very savoury/foresty/minty, but has length and controlled tannins; simply needed riper fruit and richness.
