Domaine Pavelot is one of the best domaines and the benchmark in the region for several generations. Today Hugues has joined his father Jean-Marc to make a formidable team. The property covers 13 hectares, Pinot Black for red and Chardonnay for white grape varieties are exclusive to their Bourgogne wines. This wine is matured 12 months in oak barrel, fruits are sourced from 40 years old vineyads in village make a wine of great complexity.

A radiant bouquet with red currant aromas that are nicely defined. The palate is smooth right from the start with a mixture of red and black fruit, sappy ripe tannins and a touch of white pepper sprinkled over the succulent finish. This is very satisfying for a village cru. 88 points
