Tasting Notes
Deeper and richer than the minty, red currant-scented, yet lean, angular 1995, La Tour-Carnet’s 1996 exhibits a ruby/purple color, and sweet berry and currant fruit presented in an herb-tinged, spicy, medium-bodied format. Because of its moderate tannin, this wine will need 3-4 years of cellaring; it will keep a decade.(Wine Advocate #115 Feb 1998)
