Tasting Notes

The 2003 reveals dramatic levels of toasty new oak along with a weedy tobacco character, a pinched, narrowly constructed style, and a lack of charm and depth. Hopefully, it will flesh out over the next decade and offer more complexity as well as character.

Lots of plum and floral aromas with hints of new oak. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins, light fruit and a subtle finish.
