Tasting Notes
A strong showing for this estate, which has been a perennial underachiever, the 2000 Ferriere exhibits a sweet cherry, black currant, leafy tobacco, and damp earth-scented bouquet. Medium-bodied, with ripe tannin, very good to excellent concentration, and a velvety finish, this charming, stylish effort will be at its best between 2006-2015. Bravo!(Wine Advocate #146 Apr 2003)
