Tasting Notes

Made by Ducru-Beaucaillou’s Bruno Borie, this is a fruit-driven, Merlot-dominated 2006 displaying notes of sweet cherries, tobacco leaf, and roasted herbs offered in a medium-bodied, evolved, straightforward style. Consume it over the next 4-5 years.

Fruity and round, with a chocolate and light coffee character. Medium- to full-bodied. Clean finish. Tannic too. Needs a little more on the midpalate.
