Tasting Notes
This property is producing better and better wines, although consumers should not expect any home runs yet. The deep ruby/plum-hued, soft, round 2003 displays the vintage??s opulence along with sweet, savory, black cherry and cassis fruit, and hints of smoke, scorched earth, and burning embers. In spite of its fleshy character, it is a monolithic effort that will require consumption over the next 12-15 years.(Wine Advocate #164 Apr 2006)
