Tasting Notes
This dark ruby-colored, elegant, savory effort offers abundant quantities of herb-tinged, smoky, earthy, black currant fruit intermixed with licorice and toast. Fleshy, medium-bodied, and ripe, with moderate tannin, this is a well-made, classic Margaux that should be at its best between 2005-2017. Last tasted, 3/02.(Bordeaux Book, 4th Edition Jan 2003)
