Tasting Notes

This is another very good effort from this consistent property that turns out wines that are often very close to classified-growth quality. Dark ruby/purple-tinged with cedary, black currant notes intermixed with roasted herbs and underbrush, this medium-bodied wine displays excellent concentration and relatively sweet tannins. It should evolve nicely for another 10-12 years.

Displays blackberry and light toasty oak, with a hint of dark chocolate. Medium-bodied, with firm tannins and a slightly hollow palate. But pleasant. Best after 2009.
