Tasting Notes

Bright pale straw with green tinges. The aroma is perfumed and complex with elements of lime zest, fennel, cummin and a hint of talc. The palate is firm with subdued herbal/vermouth like characters that give way to a crisp dryness on the finish. – by Offical Website

Bright and lively, its refreshing lime, pear and floral flavors riding easily on a polished frame. Drink now through 2019. – by Wine Spectator

A talcy and lifted floral bouquet; the palate is quite generous and open knit; the line is a little broken on the finish, but there is good flavour to be enjoyed. –  by James Halliday

With just a touch of sweetness (3.5 g/l residual sugar), the 2008 South Riesling displays very fragrant, floral aromas of honeysuckle and lime blossom with hints of mandarin peel, fennel seed and wax. Dry, crisp, and medium-bodied, with good concentration leading to a long finish, this is drinking superbly now though it has the character and structure to develop beautifully through 2018+. – by Robert Parker
