Colour: Bright garnet in colour with purple hues
Bouquet: Intense cool climate cassis fruit with integrated spicy oak.
Palate: Complex flavours of cassis and cherry with spicy oak and long finish.

Good colour; provokes the same comment as the Johnny Q Cabernet: it’s great for the consumer that cabernet is so oversupplied; this medium-bodied wine has abundant cassis/blackcurrant fruit and good texture and structure; subliminal sweetness on the finish is not an issue at this price point.
