Tasting Notes
From a top-notch estate in Victoria’s Heathcote region, the dense ruby/purple-colored 2004 Shiraz Georgia’s Paddock offers up scents of licorice, white pepper, cassis, and new barrel smells. Full-bodied, rich, and heady, its big, earthy style reflects the Cambrian soils of Heathcote. It should drink well for a decade.

Raw and youthful, with sharp tannins and sharper acidity around a focused core of cherry, raspberry and white pepper flavors that linger on the finish. Needs time to soften. Best after 2008. 75 cases imported.

Outstanding colour; a fragrant burst of sweet fruits and spices leaps from the glass; much more elegant than many prior vintages; black fruits and very fine tannins to close.
