Tasting Notes
Stacked with dark, concentrated and brooding musky fruit, this lightly peppery shiraz is what Heathcote is all about. Steeped in black plums and cassis and lightly smoky mocha oak, its richly textured palate is both piercing and penetrative, built around firm, fine tannins. A touch of class.

Medium purple-red; clean, moderately intense black cherry fruit is offset by slightly charry oak on the bouquet; a big, show-style palate with opulent black cherry fruit and well-handled but evident vanilla oak; as always, the tannins are quite soft.
