Tasting Notes
Fresh and focused. Brims with plum and blueberry fruit, shaded by licorice and hints of smoke. Finishes round but balanced, with refreshing acidity. Best from 2008 through 2014. 350 cases imported.

A luscious, long and stylish modern shiraz steeped in musky, spicy aromas of blackberries and plums, black pepper, cloves and cinnamon with an assertive but finely integrated background of smoky fine-grained vanilla oak. Its smooth and chocolatey palate of concentrated, briary fruit and spicy oak finishes with savoury, dark olive notes and minerals, plus a lingering core of black fruits.

Dark colour; opulent, rich and mouthfilling; chocolate, vanilla and mocha provide much of the energy, though there is plenty of blackberry/licorice fruit.

ess densely colored and is slightly muted aromatically. On the palate it is considerably leaner than the 2002 and slightly pinched in the finish where some dry tannin makes its presence known.

Bright, round and juicy. A gorgeous mouthful of cherry, blackberry and floral flavors, lingering on the finish with a touch of dark espresso to add interest. The tannins are polished, and the wine has a keen sense of balance, grace and harmony. Drink now through 2015. 2,000 cases imported.
