Tasting Notes
Deep but bright full purple-red; a smooth, classy bouquet with sweet damson plum fruit, followed by the usual immaculately sculpted palate offering sumptuous plum and dark cherry, positive but not overly assertive oak, and lingering, ripe tannins.

The 2000 Shiraz Moonambel is subtle and restrained by Australian standards, but builds incrementally in the mouth to reveal sweet cassis fruit as well as high quality oak, hints of licorice, and a medium-bodied, graceful style. It should drink well for 10-12 years.
