Tasting Notes

The 2008 Jaspi Maragda is made up of 45% Garnacha, 25% Carinena, with the balance Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Tempranillo. It sports an alluring bouquet of Asian spices, incense, black cherry, and blueberry leading to a wine slightly more structured than the Jaspi Negre cuvee. Give this well-proportioned effort another 1-2 years of cellaring and drink it through 2020.
