Tasting Notes
This is a well-made wine, with licorice and herb-tinged black currant fruit, spicy oak, and soil tones. The medium-bodied, refined, moderately endowed 1999 should be drunk over the next 7-8 years.(Wine Advocate #140 Apr 2002)
