Weedy, with moderately high tannin in the finish, this dark ruby/purple-colored Pauillac offers sweet cassis, dried herbs, and earth aromas. After good ripeness on the attack, the wine becomes more compressed. Anticipated maturity: 2003-2012.(Wine Advocate #128 Apr 2000)
