Tasting Notes
A charming, silky-styled offering, the 2004 Haut-Batailley, while somewhat superficial, is ideal for drinking over the next 10-12 years. Its dark ruby color is accompanied by sweet aromas of cranberry jam, cherries, and black currants. Ripe tannin, low acidity, and a light, silky finish result in a charming, seductive Pauillac.(Wine Advocate #171 Jun 2007)
