Tasting Notes
A beautiful finale to the decade. Bouquet initially demure but promising, with scents of
dark and red fruits and hints of vanilla. Powerful in the mouth, well concentrated, with beautifully ripe
and well-rounded tannins. Lovely balance and long-lasting finish. Great vintage for ageing.

The deeply colored 1990 reveals a tightly knit nose that offers aromas of black fruits, smoky oak, and earth. In the mouth, there is medium body, excellent ripeness, good acidity, and plenty of length in the moderately tannic finish. It should age nicely for 10-15 or more years.

Still holding back. Dark ruby color. Very plummy, with lovely floral perfumes. Full-bodied, with compacted fruit and a lovely silky texture. Fine tannins.–1990 Bordeaux retrospective. Best after 2000.
