100% Chardonnay

Tasting Notes

Gleaming straw-green; a complex wine in mainstream Margaret River style, with a mix of white flesh stone fruit, grapefruit, fig and cashew; good balance and length.

– by James Halliday

Barrel fermented in French oak barriques, 40% new, and aged for 10 months, the 2008 Chardonnay gives toasty apple tart and warm apricot notes over cedar and a hint of meal. Medium-full bodied, it offers an abundance of honey-nut and cedar flavors in the mouth with a long butterscotch-laced finish. Drink it now to 2015+.
