Kies family have been growing grapes in the region for seven generations. Kies Wines are produced entirely from their own vineyard and each variety is carefully tended to, right through the winemaking process.

A thoroughly commendable wine in the context of ’11, indeed most vintages; the thick-skinned cabernet welcomed cool temperatures on the swings, and in this instance, didn’t lose intensity on the roundabouts. Bravo. 91 points
