Black Noble is made from botrytised Semillon that is fortified and aged in old oak barrels for an average of eight years. Created by Darren De Bortoli, it was Inspired by a 1930s wine made by Vittorio De Bortoli.

Arguably unique in the world of wine, and certainly very esoteric. It should be chilled, drunk within a week of opening and a little goes a long way. Super-intense, yet elegant, and shows no hint of volatile acidity; flavours of exotic spices and mandarin. 94 points
